Spinning
Spinning is the new trend in fitness that fascinates in the US and Europe.
Spinners may initially look like bicycles, which we usually use for warming up, but they have absolutely nothing to do with a loose bike. It is a complete training of 45 minutes, which has nothing to envy from the "tough" mountain bikes. The intensity is constantly increasing and the difficulty as well.
Indoor cycling first appeared in Greece in the 90's, under the name Official spinning by the company Star Trac.
Since the acceptance from the clients of the gyms was more than warm - and continues - in recent years we consider them as one of the most successful group programs. It is highly important that it is a form of exercise for everyone, regardless of age, gender and friction with physical exercise. Anyone can follow it without having any prior contact with physical exercise.
Spinning is one of the few group lessons, where the risk of injury is negligible, since the exercises performed on the bike are specific.
But what about the results? The period during which the trainees see visible results depends on the frequency of their participation in the course. With an exercise frequency of 3 times per week, the results are visible in a maximum of 2 months.
More specifically, the program tones legs, arms, shoulders, chest, abs and of course ... heart, since it has been proven to be one of the best cardiovascular exercises, improving the endurance and increasing the aerobic capacity of the body.
The moment you will obtain the proper technique and follow the exact instructions of the instructor, you will be able to "burn" up to 500 calories every 40 minutes. Not bad! So, if you want to try something different from the usual group programs, all you have to do is discover it at Planet Fitness.
